影片整體來說十分精彩和流暢，主要的問題是劇作的后半段出現(xiàn)的，但是這些問題在胡金銓導(dǎo)演出色的場面調(diào)度，創(chuàng)新的運(yùn)動機(jī)位以及空間運(yùn)用下是完全可以忽略的。另外，鄭佩佩的演出十分精彩，一個個性女俠在低沉的嗓音中顯得格外耀眼。
